What the Bible Says About Everything In Season
Have you ever been troubled by questions such as, “What is the point of life?” or “What should I do with my life?” It can be difficult to find answers to these questions in this chaotic world.
The Bible provides us with an answer to these questions. In it, we learn that everything in season has a purpose and that by following God’s will we can lead a fulfilling life. The Bible speaks about ‘everything in season’ numerous times. Let’s take a look at three key passages which address this idea:
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
This passage is one of the most well-known verses from the bible and it states: “To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven…”. Here, Solomon is emphasizing that everything in this world is subject to cycles of birth and death, growth and decay. He reminds us that our lives too are subject to similar cycles; some seasons may be full of joy while others could be filled with sorrow. But regardless of what our current situation may be, there is always something good in store for us in due time if we are patient and faithful.
Galatians 6:9
In this verse, Paul urges us to “not grow weary while doing good” because there will come a time when we will reap what we have sown if only we remain persistent and diligent. This speaks directly to the idea of everything having its own appointed time – no matter how much work it takes, if you remain faithful then you will eventually receive your reward.
Colossians 4:5-6
Paul encourages us here to be wise in all our interactions – recognizing each person according to their individual needs and responding appropriately. This highlights the importance of being mindful of everyone around us because they too have their own journeys they are traveling on; helping out others during difficult times can go a long way towards building meaningful relationships later on down the road.
From these three passages alone it becomes clear that everything does indeed have its own appointed time – seasons come and go but God never changes. We must remember that though some things may seem uncertain or out of reach right now; with patience, faithfulness, and wisdom there will come a day when all things shall fall into place as per God’s plan for us all.
